Crap People Post on Pinterest

Have you discovered the wondrous world of Pinterest?  I have, it's great.  But sometimes, people post stuff on Pinterest that makes me shake my head:

Pinterest label: Circle scarf from t-shirt material -- pretty sure I could make this out of a t-shirt

...I've tried this.  Trouble is, a scarf made from a t-shirt looks like just that: a scarf.  Made from a t-shirt.  It ends up looking cheap and ratty - definitely not cute.  Pinterest abounds with similar shitty crafting ideas.  (And plenty of awesome ones too, but that's not what this post is about.)

Pinterest label: Take closet doors off and take the shelf and rack out to make an inset for a crib.

...Then you don't have a closet.  Pan to the other side of this room and I bet you'd see a pile of clothes on the floor.  ;)

Pinterest label: bow bun.

...Yeah, if you want to go out in public like that.

Pinterest label: #Inspiration to keep on going. #Workout #Fitness #Weight_loss

..Weight loss: you're doing it wrong.

Pinterest label: My Weight Loss Revolution: Before & After

...Pretty sure this guy is just sucking it in in his second picture.  Keep working on it, dude.  I can make myself look ten pounds skinnier too with better lighting and flexed abs.  Oh, and shave your face.  You're not helping your situation with that goatee.

Pinterest label: vintage stands

...You think these look good, do you?  You think people won't notice that you glued a plate to a cup?

...Only if you're a stripper or a Showgirl is this a good look for you.
